ANAK's scholarship program provides more than just a scholarship to children. ANAK strongly believes in a holistic approach and also offers our scholars additional workshops and training.

Trainingen

It is very important to offer children the opportunity to go to school. It is a fundamental right! However, ANAK believes that we should also support our scholars in other ways in order to help them succeed. Many of our scholars have been in and out of school due to poverty. Therefore, this has caused blanks in their knowledge in certain topics. Every week tutorials in math, English and computer skills are offered to those who need it. Moreover, on a regular basis creative workshops are organized and sports as well as sexual education are part of the program.

Coaching

The academic performance of a student is strongly related to the well-being of that student. Therefore, ANAK emphasizes the importance of guidance and counseling. Many of our scholars are experiencing difficult living circumstances.

To provide our scholars with support every scholar has a mentor. They meet on a regular basis. The mentor not only keeps track of academic performance but also is in close contact with the parents. The involvement of parents is highly important as a student is more likely to succeed with the support of his family.
